Cablevision and Turner Broadcasting reached an agreement Friday to have TBS HD added to the Cablevision channel listing.
As we reported earlier this month, instead of 1 new HD channel being added for a TV provider, DirecTV is adding over 20 channels.
Cablevision customers contacted us and didn’t believe our article published about the new 100 HD channels for DirecTV by the end of the year. While Cablevision has less then 20 HD channels with the major networks. Verizon FiOS, the competitor of Cablevision’s land line, has more major HD channels than Cablevision making the provider look like more than a dust ball in the road.
TBS HD will be on channel 739 for all iO Cablevision customers on October 1.

Sony showed the audience at the E3 summit a special Star Wars PSP that will be out in October.
In the ‘lame’ demonstration, Chewbecca came out with the special PSP, in which the audience did not find as funny as Sony have thought it would be. The special PSP will be white and will have a Darth Vader sticker on the back.
“Funny, I could do that already with my white DS lite.”
