Jimmy became a WRAJ Radio DJ in January of 2002. He started out on the air with a Friday Night show called The Evening Talk Show, that started in January 2002. The Evening Talk Show came to a close because WRAJ was becoming even bigger than before. So Jimmy teamed up with Anthony for one of WRAJ's biggest shows: An Evening with Jim and Ant. In early 2005, the show was delayed during its run for a few weeks for Jim's absence from the studio because of school, but returned in July 2005.

On the station, Jimmy was named the radio's meteorologist since the beginning. Jimmy's biggest success was hosting/directing the WRAJ Christmas Special. Presently, the Christmas specials are still being produced and brought to you live on the air every holiday season.

Jim graduated from Suffolk Community College with his A.S. Degree in the Liberal Arts Program in December 2007. Jim is continuing his education at St. Joseph's College on Long Island for Business Administration since January 2008.

He has received many awards in and outside of his High School career including the Who's Who Among American Students Award, High Honor Roll, Connetquot Pride Award, and a Citizenship Award. He even did the morning announcements for his high school for a short while, receiving many positive comments from the students and staff of Connetquot High School. In June 2005, he graduated from Connetquot High School in Bohemia with his Regents Diploma.

Jim is sometimes called an "expert" when it comes to the Entertainment field of motion pictures. Meaning, he knows mostly everything about certain directors, actors, or movie trivia, because of some research that he does sometimes on the Internet. His favorite directors are Woody Allen, Martin Scorsese, Rob Reiner, and Stephen Spielberg. Jimmy also enjoys, sometimes, discussing about politics and what is happening in our nation with people that are seriously involved with it.

When the subject of music is brought up, Jimmy's favorite genres are Rock and Jazz. His number one artist is Long Island's very own, "The Piano Man," Billy Joel. When it comes to Jazz he likes the standards including Tony Bennett, Frank Sinatra, Diana Krall, and some others.

Jim would like to thank his family for all their support on his broadcasting. He would also like to thank Anthony for all his support throughout the years on the air. Anthony said, "For the past three years working with Jimmy, he always had great ideas for new shows, and for holiday music. It has been great having him on the air all these years."

Jimmy currently hosts "Saturday Night Jazz and Standards" every Saturday Night at 10PM EST.
