Mary joined the WRAJ Internet Radio team in early March of 2006. She plans on kicking off her new career with a morning show in the near future and is excited to be joining the team.

WRAJ Internet Radio is not Mary’s first experience in radio. In high school, she belonged to the school’s broadcasting club and was producer for the school’s radio station in her senior year.

Now, nineteen years old, she is a sophomore at Five Towns College, majoring in Mass Communication with a concentration in journalism. As a freshmen in her first semester she had a morning show with her friend Dina on the school's radio station, WFTU, but now in her second semester she and Dina have a Wednesday afternoon show called “What’s in Your Lunchbox?” All they do is play the music they like and make fun of each other, so Mary is looking forward to a more structured radio experience, where the listeners are “less scarce” and the music.. comes alive.

Although it seems quite possible that microphones, sound boards, headphones, and stacks of CDs may have consumed Mary’s world, she still finds time in her life for her other passions: vegetarian cuisine, her drums, bubble baths, going to the playground, and going to as many shows as she possibly can.

Her music interests have held on pretty strong over the years. She claims to love everything including (but not limited to) “indie-hippie-chick music, riot girl, electronica, ska, classic rock, angry girl music, chick bands, alternative rock, and Josie and the Pussycats as well as The Beets.”

Mary promises her video gaming skills will be better once she attends more Nerd Nights and thanks you for reading her bio. She also says, “Hey, what's up?” and gives you a peace sign.
