New Streaming Servers

June 15th, 2007

As mentioned last week, we have successfully setup new servers to expand our listening capability and experience. If you notice on our listen live page and homepage, we have a 128K for broadband users, 96K for DSL users, and 24K for dial up users.

We have increased our maximum bitrate from 64K to 96K  then to 128K in under a month. We started offering multiple-bitrate streams in May. If you experience down-times or having problems connecting to our new streams, contact support by going to our Help and Support page. Most likely, our original server, the medium-speed stream, should work for everybody now.

As mentioned last month with our plans about mp3PRO, we are no longer broadcasting with mp3PRO.
Please note that not all songs have been tested with the new servers. From time to time you might not notice problems with several music as we need to enhance some of our music collection to meet our high speed stream.
