On Wednesday afternoon, the frontpages of wrajradio.com was hacked by hackers. This was not the first attack reported, on Friday afternoon the site’s unused music guide section was hacked. “We are aware of a vulnerability in our coding for publishing song information to the site, we are currently upgrading our systems to a new secured platform to prevent future attacks,” said Anthony Zaragoza. He also reported that user’s information within the myWRAJ portal was secured and wasn’t accessed by the hackers.
Anthony reports that the site will be down from time to time to fix the problem, even some parts of the website is going to be reconstructed. Anthony encourages people to listen to WRAJ by going to WRAJ Internet Radio’s listen page at http://community.loudcity.com/stations/wraj-internet-radio/files/show/ . The WRAJ Internet Radio Player on the listen live page, the Player application and Player widget may not work when the website is unavailable.
We’ve been experiencing some problems with our PHP database for the last few days which we are investigating right now. PHP is the software and database used to generate the pages, including this blog, throughout this website. “We believe it was caused by an execution of a script that caused the database to slow down.” So from time to time, you will encounter an error called “Error 500 - Internal Server Error.” Just because the site is not working doesn’t mean we are not live on the air, if you need to listen, click the listen live link on the error page or go to http://listen.wrajradio.com in browser’s address bar.
We are performing tools to repair the issue, which will cause the site to go down from time to time. Stay tune to the WRAJ Internet Radio blog for the latest updates.
